SUMMARY OF THE ANSWERS FROM THE INTERVIEWEES


  1. I have interviewed three various students from different universities. One of them is currently in his freshman year, and the other two are incoming first-year students. Their ages range from 18 to 19 years old.

  2. All of them responded that their study is doing very well. Most of the interviewees are having a hard time preparing for the upcoming face-to-face classes next school year. Since not all of them have had years of face-to-face college yet, they are still guessing what supplies are actually necessary for their selected college courses.

  3. The students answered the questions differently. One student said that he prefers buying his supplies directly from the store to check the quality of the product, but later on, he said that during pandemic he enjoys buying school supplies online because it is much more convenient and saves him from the hassle of transportation. On the other hand, the other two students agreed on buying online because of quick transactions, saving time and money on transportation, and most importantly to avoid covid-19 transmission.

  4. All students answered Tiktok, Facebook, YouTube, and Instagram as their usual social media networks.

  5. They prefer to buy their necessities on Facebook because this channel now has a thing called “Facebook marketplace” where you can sell, buy, and find products you need instantly. They also choose Instagram because they are usually active on this channel and it also has informational details about a certain product.

  6. All of the students want to be assisted personally. They want to have an intimate one-on-one talk or conversation with the seller to ensure that the product they are buying fits to what they really need. They also want to be assisted through automated services wherein they can buy products online without hassle.

  7. Students are willing to pay based on the quality and quantity of the product. But since they are still in school and wanted to save money, low-cost school supplies are what they prefer. They also said that they are willing to pay any additional fee needed just like for example, rush fees and handling fees.

  8. All of the students responded to the question with the same answer that Gcash is the most convenient way of transaction when buying online products.

  9. Most of the students said that a business is doing great when they have sponsors and suppliers that are trusted by many people. They also said that when the company’s distribution of products is doing very well and the packaging is nice and secured. The stock of a company's products also has to be taken into account when identifying a successful company because it indicates that people love their product and are still buying and supporting their business. One student said that a business is doing great when it is referred by his friends and family because of its good service and quality products.

SUMMARY OF THE ANSWERS FROM THE INTERVIEWEES


Now that we have conducted this interview and interviewed various types of students, I have learned that it is important to know their part and take when building a business. Their views and opinion are the core values of this start-up business, we are creating this business product to lessen their pain and problems as a student and also because we experienced this kind of struggle too and we wanted to share our knowledge to cope with it. We also used this opportunity to alter any changes that may happen to our business model canva and value proposition canva according to the answer of our valued customers.
