SUMMARY OF THE ANSWERS FROM THE INTERVIEWEES
Upon interviewing some students, I gathered their personal information, as one of them is a current college student and two senior high school students. Which is soon to be starting to go at the college level. It is great because we can use their answer as a preference for our business.
All three of them are kind of having a hard time studying with the current situation due to the pandemic, they are also struggling to choose and buy what they need in college as they have no idea which supplies are they going to need.
For the question on where they usually buy their school supplies, they also all refer to buying in the actual store rather than buying online. Since they can see and touch the items. While online, you can only see the photo and you still have to take its proper dimension for you to calculate the sizes.
They choose the common and popular social media sites, which are Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, and Youtube.
All of them preferred to buy products on Facebook, as they can see the seller, and you can check if the seller is a real person or a scammer.
All of them also choose to be assisted personally rather than talking to a bot, and they reasoned out that, by talking to a live person, they can also get a live answer about the products.
The students that we interviewed are all low on budget, as they are still studying and have no source of income yet, except for their student allowance. But they are all willing to pay, additional fees for convenience, such as rush and handling fees.
They responded that they prefer a cashless payment, which is Gcash or bank transfer as it can be done with their phone, and without going outside for cash.
They all said that a business is doing good or doing great if it can give a good service and products constantly. This means a company is earning enough to make sure it can sustain all the purchases. Also, one of them added, that a good business has a sales representative in case a product has an issue so that it can be resolved as soon as possible.
SUMMARY OF THE ANSWERS FROM THE INTERVIEWEES
Upon interviewing three students. I noticed that all of them are kind of struggling with their studies but are surviving since it is their goal to finish their studies no matter how hard it is. They encountered a lot of things before and on pandemic, and one of it is to choose or buy their school supplies needs. All of them agreed that it is a hassle or time consuming in thinking which items or school supplies they need especially in college.
